Redang Island

Pulau Redang, situated 45km off the coast of Kuala Terengganu, is the largest of all Terengganu's islands. Pulau Redang comprises 9 islands, the Lima Island, Paku Besar Island, Paku Kecil Island, Kerengga Besar Island, Kerengga Kecil Island, Ekor Tebu Island, Ling Island, Pinang Island and Redang Island. Redang Island which is approximately 7km in length 6km in width, is the largest of all other islands in the Marine Park.
Redand Island boasts two beautiful beaches, the Long Beach or locally known as Pasir Panjang, situated on the east coast and Teluk Dalam Kecil, a sheltered cove tucked away on the northeast of the island. Teluk Dalam Kecil is the location of the Berjaya Redang Beach Resort, a five-star accommodation on the island.
A myriad of surprises await beneath the bewithchingly blue sea. The waters teem with a wealth of marine life and corals, and the good visibility makes it ideal for snorkelling and diving. At the Marine Park Centre friendly wrasses, sergeant majors and breams swarm around snorkellers. Divers can look forward to thrilling encounters with black-tip sharks. Rare giant clams and hawkshill turtles too have been sighted here.

Sipadan Island

Sipadan Island is famous for its beautiful sea which is a pull factor for travel here.
Sipadan Island located near the town of Semporna in eastern of Sabah. It is the only island in Malaysia of limestone with a height of 600 meters above sea level.
It is one of the five best dive locations in the world. The beauty of the ocean can not be described by words. Sipadan island is also recognized as a bird sanctuary in 1933.
Scuba diving activities are the heart of this area. It is a blue heaven. Full view of the sea floor marine life such as turtles, barracuda, fish, marginal, sampling reefs and many more waiting for scuba divers to visit.

Paddy Museum, Kedah

It is the first paddy museum
in Malaysia, and the fourth to be opened in the world after Japan, Germany and the Philippines.
It is located 10km from Alor Star city. you can go to the museum by taxi or car from the Alor Star city. If you are from the north-south highway, take the Alor Star Utara Interchange and follow the signboard heading to Paddy Museum.
The unique architecture of the Paddy Museum represents bushels of harvested rice stalks. Rice motifs are repeated throughout the building, on
staircase banisters, the museum gates and the fence surrounding it.
The museum showcases the paddy cultivation process in Malaysia and displays all kinds of tools and equipment which have been used in the trade over the years. Through beautiful murals, the art work of 60 artists from North Korea, the history of paddy cultivation in Malaysia is revealed.
It honours the history, culture and significance of paddy farming in Kedah and is dedicated to the hardworking and simple paddy farmers, whose blood, sweat and toil have contributed to the objective of achieving self sufficiency in the rice industry.
